खूप दिवसांनी republic पाहिलं. National conclave. आसामचे मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत बिस्व शर्मा होते. फार छान चर्चा झाली. अर्णव अगदीच गरजेचं बोलताना दिसला याचा सुखद धक्का बसला. मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या भूमिकाही स्पष्ट आणि ठाम होत्या. फक्त एक मुद्दा मात्र नाही पटला. ते म्हणाले, you can criticise the individual but not the country. त्यांनी पंतप्रधान मोदी यांचं नावही घेतलं. त्यांना काही प्रश्नही विचारण्यात आले. मात्र एक मुद्दा ते स्पष्ट करू शकले नाहीत की, how to differentiate an individual and his decisions. One can criticise the individual. Ok. Nice. But if a decision of an individual is questioned, can it be a criticism of the country. Are decisions sans individual life can be blindly considered as or equated to country and interest of the country as a whole?
